The mission was to completely upgrade the main roadside branding for Mitai Māori Village, a premier cultural tourism destination in Rotorua. Located on Fairy Springs Road – the main northern arterial gateway into the city – the site demanded signage that instantly catches the eye of passing motorists and international tourists alike.

Our team had devised a strategic design and layout plan to ensure the cultural artwork and text remains bold, clear, and impactful at high speeds. Due to Rotorua’s environmental conditions and intense UV exposure, heavy-duty ACM panel finished with high-performance laminates to guarantee vibrant print and long-term durability.

Because Fairy Springs Road is a high-volume traffic zone, precision and safety during the installation was critical. As well as the village operating during the hours of install, extra care was taken to section off the area:

• Access & Logistics: Firstly, our crew strategically timed the installation to minimize disruption, utilizing cherry pickers to safely position and securely mount the massive roadside panels.

• Site Control: The work zone was managed with strict safety barriers and protocols in place to ensure a completely secure environment for our installers and inbound visitors to the village.

• The Crew: Lastly, our experienced installation team completed the structural setup smoothly, ensuring every panel was leveled, securely anchored, and flawlessly finished.

To conclude, the result is a stunning, high-impact signage upgrade that does complete justice to the rich cultural heritage of Mitai Māori Village.
