The mission was to completely refresh the external signage for the long-standing Mico Plumbing and Mico Bathrooms site in Rotorua. Because this is a high-traffic, active trade environment, preparation was key.

Our team worked directly alongside Mico Plumbing’s Health and Safety team to devise a comprehensive, site-specific safety and installation plan. To guarantee long-term durability against the elements, we printed and applied premium laminated graphics to heavy-duty ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) sheets using high-grade 5-year exterior vinyl and laminate.

With a solid plan in place, our installation team moved onto the site to bring the project to life. Safety was our top priority during the physical install:

• Access Equipment: A specialized scissor lift was utilized to safely reach and precisely align the high-level building fascia and entrance wayfinding signs.

• Site Control: The work zone was fully cordoned off with safety cones and barriers to ensure a secure environment for both our crew and Mico’s visiting trade customers.

• The Crew: Our experienced installers, Elvin and Chris, successfully completed the installation smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

The result is a highly successful installation that perfectly showcases the modern brand refresh currently being rolled out by Mico.

The new ACM and wayfinding signs are absolutely sparkling. They provide a sharp, modern, and highly visible look that will command attention for this long-standing site for years to come.
